First of all thanks for the great racing the past two weeks. Below is
the information about our race coming up in two weeks.


Maryland Collegiate Cycling Team presents.. The Elkridge Furnace Inn RR

Course: A 5 mile course with one ½ mile climb, the rest is rolling or
flat. The finish is wide open and allows for great spectator viewing.

Registration: Look for signs on day of event in the parking lots. Entry
fee is $15 per rider per event. Racers must have valid USCF license with 
collegiate sticker or money for a one day license. There will be
registration on day of event (but be sure to register Friday night!).
Registration opens one hour before the first event and closes 30 minutes 
prior to each thereafter. To pre-register before Friday night through mail, 
send check payable to Maryland Collegiate Cycling Team and
event/category information to: Eric Fetterman, 10320 College Square, 
Columbia, MD 21044. If your club wishes to receive an invoice for entry fees 
to turn into your school you MUST contact Chris Hill at cphill@wam.umd.edu 
prior to March 17, 2003 with all appropriate information. Lunch will be 
provided for all racers, volunteers, and officials.

Directions:
>From the West: Follow I-70 to Baltimore’s 695 Beltway and head south to
95. Follow directions from Baltimore and North.

>From Baltimore and North: ….Take 95 South to 195 – Exit 47A and follow
directions from DC.

>From DC and South: Follow 95 North to 195 - Exit 47 A, ……..this is also
the BWI airport exit. Take the first exit (Exit 3) to the right and head
south on Route 1. Then make the first left onto Levering Ave (approx ¾ 
mile)and follow sign to Furnace Rd. This means a quick left then right and 
you are on Furnace Rd. Available parking will be down on the right and left 
at The Elkridge Furnace Inn. DO NOT park in the grass around the Inn! You 
will be towed. If you have to park in the road please do so on the 
counterclockwise side of the road. Registration will be in these parking 
lots on race day.
